Foods To Consider For An Acid Reflux Diet

This is some general advice, if you follow a acid reflux diet. Eat eat large meals and do not recommend just before bedtime when you are on an acid reflux diet. The following foods are to be enjoyed in moderation, if you are an acid reflux diet following:

Fruit - low-acid orange juice, peach, apple cider, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, dried cranberries, grapes

Vegetables - onions that is cooked, garlic, leeks, shallots,Sauerkraut

Meat - lean meats, scrambled eggs in butter, chicken salad, fried eggs, tuna salad, fish, beef or pork sausages, ham

Dairy products - yogurt, frozen yogurt, 2% or skim milk, low-fat cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese

Cereals - muesli cereal, bread, garlic, muffin

Beverages - Non-alcoholic wines, non-alcoholic beer, cola, beer, root beer

Grease / oil - ketchup

Sweets / desserts --low-fat cookie

This is by no means a comprehensive list of foods you can consume and to avoid acid reflux on a diet, but it's a start. If you find that your little reflux disease is under control, then perhaps you can slow a food to absorb from the banned list to see how you react to it. If it makes your acid reflux worse, then you know that good food to be avoided.
